The 4th round of the Lowveld Enduro series was hosted just outside the quaint town of Pilgrims Rest, with the pits located on their local airstrip.
The conditions for the first two laps were very fast and dusty followed by the last lap that included more technical sections that had brilliant up and downhill tracks.
The racing is primarily GPS based with route marking and electronic check points to ensure no shortcuts.
I made an early navigation mistake that loaded my first lap time by 20 minutes, I pushed hard to make up time and posted the fastest laps times for the balance of the two laps.
Very please with my speed and happy that we were able to post a 4th place on the day and keeping the LEC Class Championship race very much alive.
